Description: The bronze fountain was presented to the people of Cincinnati on October 6, 1871, by Henry Probasco, as a memorial to his late brother-in-law, Tyler Davidson. The central and crowning figure is the "Genius of Water." Below the "Genius of Water" is a supporting shaft, spreading at the top with interlaced vines and foliage. Around the shaft are figures, which further illustrate the needs and benefits of water.
