The Home was organized in a renetd house, No. 6 East Seventh street. The increasing number of boys necessitated a removal in February, 1886, to 85 East Fifth street, and aftwards to No. 163 Broadway, where The Home remained for two years. Finally the present quarters were purchased in July, 1894, and Feburary, 1896, at a combined cost of $23,250. A more desirable lcoation could not be found, being in the center of factory and business interests where boys can easily obtain employment, and convenient to parish churches and schools, both German and English. Miss Margaret McCabe is the Directress."
